Motorists stage protest as petrol station mixes diesel with water in Hyderabad

Motorists staged a protest on Sunday, demanding the closure of a petrol station that has allegedly mixed diesel with water in Hyderabad.

Motorists who filled up their vehicles at a petrol station near the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Pedha Amberpet had a difficult time after their vehicles broke down in the middle of the road and they had to spend a lot of money to fix the engine.

The petrol station on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway is suspected of providing diesel mixed with water. Cars and other large vehicles that had filled up their tanks at the petrol station came to a halt in the middle of the road after a short distance.

The motorists who checked their vehicles discovered water in their tanks and confronted the staff people of the station. The motorists said that they did not receive a proper answer from the people for their negligence.

On Sunday, they held a protest demanding that the petrol station be closed. They afterwards approached the police and filed a complaint.
