Muslim Law Board Supports UP Court’s Idea Of Making Cow A National Animal

Notable Sunni cleric and All India Muslim Personal Law Board part Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali has firmly upheld the Allahabad High Court’s idea to make cow India’s public creature.

The Maulana said that Muslims earnestly support the court’s idea and regard the feelings of the Hindu siblings. He said that this would encourage solidarity and harmony in the country.

“The high court’s idea to name the cow India’s public creature is gladly received. The court is likewise right in seeing that in any event, during the Mughal rule there was a restriction on cow butcher,” he said.

The Maulana then referred to the old times and said that the Mughal ruler Babur had offered two bits of guidance to his child Humayun. One was to regard Hindu feelings and the different was to not permit cow butcher.

This was trailed by all Mughal rulers who came after Humayun. The Mughals permitted individuals, everything being equal, and religions to have equivalent rights on their strict ceremonies and practices which is the reason there was never a strict battle between individuals around then, he said.

He additionally reviewed the job of Lucknow ministers in discouraging individuals from cow butcher and said that during the opportunity battle, a fatwa had been given by Maulana Bari prohibiting cow butcher on Bakrid.

UP Bans Alcohol, Meat Trade In Mathura 

The above comes after UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced a ban on the trade of liquor and meat in Mathura. He was giving a speech on the occasion of Janmashtami. During the speech, he said that liquor and meat traders may opt for trade in milk instead.

He said that he wants to bring back to glory to Mathura to a time when it was known to produce large quantities of milk.
