Hyderabad: Stating that people of his Sangareddy constituency were facing severe problems due to non-supply of water from the Singhur and Manjeera reservoirs, Congress MLA T. Jagga Reddy today said he would raise the problems being faced by his constituency people and Sangareddy farmers.
Addressing the scribes at Assembly media point, Jagga Reddy said although he had demanded that the State government provide water to his constituents, noting had happened so far on his demand. Though Finance Minister T Harish Rao had adopted some villages in his constituency, he said some 70 percent of the farmers did not get farm loan waiver.
Jagga Reddy said although the State government was bound to pay compensation for crop loss to the farmers, he said it was not giving the same. He asked the government as to what happened to its promise of Rs 5,000 per month to the lawyers of the State.
