NAC gives job oriented training, skills: Tummala

Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister T Nageshwar Rao today said that National Academy of Construction (NAC) is number one in the country in imparting training and skills in the construction sector to get jobs and employment. Along with Chief Secretary, NAC DG K Bhikshapati and other officials, the minister launched two new post graduate courses Construction Management and Quantity Survey from NAC campus along with officials.

On the occasion he appreciated the NAC officials for imparting training and skills suitable for the construction industry which is rapidly growing. The two courses being offered in coordination with JNTU will provide ample scope for getting jobs and employment he said. These two PG courses will sure prove handy to the youth to get jobs as construction experts and consultants will provide suitable training and skills.

The minister said that NAC has so far offered training to 180 and 160 members of them have already got jobs. Now the academy has selected 80 more students for offering training and skills he said. Giving necessary training to the persons will help get jobs and employment in the construction sector he stated. (NSS)
