Naini Narasimha Reddy Steel Bridge Inaugurated in Hyderabad

The steel bridge at Indira Park in Hyderabad has been named after former Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy. Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao dedicated the 2.25-kilometer-long, four-lane bridge.

The bridge’s development, which aims to address traffic difficulties and reduce congestion in the area, is expected to cost Rs 450 crore.

The bridge is the 36th project in the program’s Strategic Road Development Program (SRDP). It is expected to reduce traffic congestion at major intersections such as VST Junction, RTC Cross Roads, and Indira Park Cross Road. Citizens may now go from Lower Tank Bund to VST in only five minutes, a commute that was formerly substantially longer owing to traffic congestion.

At the request of Musheerabad MLA M Gopal and under the guidance of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, the bridge was named after Naini Narasimha Reddy. The government’s strategy for the city’s growth includes plans to develop other places such as Indira Park, Lower Tank Bund, and Upper Tank Bund, with the goal of raising the city’s infrastructure and facilities to worldwide standards.
