National Doctor’s day-2020 celebrated at NTPC-Ramagundam

Hyderabad: National Doctors’ Day was celebrated on July 01, 2020, at NTPC-Ramagundam Hospital to honor the legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy.

Raj Kumar, ED-Ramagundam & Telangana; Dr Anil Kumar, Mayor, Ramagundam Municipal Corporation;  Dr. Sashmita Dash, GM (Medical);  A K Jadli, Head of HR along with Peddapalli District Medical & Health Officer  – Dr Pramod, District Immunisation Officer – Dr Krupa, District Sensitisation Officer – Dr Sriram, Dr Anil Damera, IMA President, Dr Jeevan Latha, and Dhanwanthari Hospital were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion,  Raj Kumar termed Doctors are second to God and asked all the hospital staff to give their best while treating the patients. He himself wanted to be a Doctor, but could not. But the soft corner for doctor profession is still there, he added.  Sharing his view, Ramagundam Mayor Dr Anil Kumar who himself is doctor highlighted doctors’ contribution, especially in the present Covid-19 pandemic context.

CMO Dr Dash welcomed the dignitaries and administered the pledge on Organ Donation with the message “If you want to live after death, Donate the Organ”.

To mark the occasion they cut the cake followed by a discussion on the significance of the day and contribution of Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy.

During this occasion, doctors and staff felicitated for their excellent services.
