National party likely to be launched by KCR soon

It is expected that Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will launch a new national political party in the near future. This historic event will take place in the Telangana capital shortly after a formal announcement of his entry into national politics.

The latest developments indicate that Chandrashekhar Rao is under increasing pressure to fulfill the historic necessity of playing a leading role in national politics, while also continuing to lead the Telangana government as chief minister.

Several sections of society, including the intelligentia, retired civil servants, retired judges, and senior politicians of many political parties, along with TRS party workers and leaders, continued to exert pressure on the TRS supremo to create a new national political party.

Chandrashekhar Rao has been unanimously urged to steer the nation and save it from the BJP’s political machinations, according to sources.

Several sources believe this was the right time for KCR to enter national politics, as Congress had not properly discharged its role as the main opposition party.

Despite its leadership crisis and the unending desertions of senior leaders, the Congress has failed to convince the nation that it is capable of confronting the BJP with its unimpressive performance during the so-called ‘Bharat Jodo yatra’.

It is important to ask how long one-sided politics should be allowed to continue. Alternative leadership is needed and people all over the country have long searched for it.

In the Telangana movement, KCR proved his abilities by bringing along other like-minded leaders from different parties. He has also been known for taking bold steps throughout his political career.

Accordingly, the BJP’s political maneuvers are diametrically opposed to Indian society’s values. Other factors that led Chandrashekhar Rao to consider moving into the national political sphere were believed to be the relentless effort to drive a wedge between people in the name of religion and his penchant for toppling state governments ruled by opposition parties.

The BJP leadership was determined to misuse and abuse government machinery in order to achieve its political ambitions, according to retired civil servants who urged Chandrashekhar Rao to launch a national party.

It appears that the TRS chief was convinced to launch a new political party by the way central agencies were misused and abused to harass opposition party leaders and the absence of a credible political party to raise a forceful voice against the BJP.

Besides misusing the Central agencies, another factor that compelled KCR to take on the Centre was financial restrictions imposed under the FRBM limits, which had a negative impact on welfare programs.
