Hyderabad: A special bus terminal and bus depot will come up near Yadadri temple in 7 acres, Transport Minister P Ajay Kumar said.
Ajay Kumar instructed officials to prepare plans in 7 acres at the Saidapuram area for the new bus terminal with modern facilities.
He told media persons that the government will cater to the needs of local and foreign devotees coming to visit Yadadri temple.
The officials were asked to build a parking area for 150 buses he said. Two special bus stations will also be built for transporting the devotees the minister said.
The minister said that the new facilities are to be built before the restarting of the famous temple in two to three months’ time. We will take the issue to the notice of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his nod, he said.
The works of the construction of the bus terminal and stations will be taken up immediately he said. He hoped that the new bus facilities will sure prove handy as they cater to the needs of the growing tourists and devotees.
A parking place will be built for 150 buses nearby he added.
