New PM Appointed by Jordanian King

Amman: Jordanian King Abdullah has Bisher Al-Khasawneh, a royal palace counsellor, as the nation’s new Prime Minister after Omar Razzaz’s resignation from the post, it was reported.

Taking the announcement to Twitter on Wednesday, the Royal Hashemite Court stated: “His Majesty Jordanian King Abdullah II tasks Bisher Khasawneh with forming a new Cabinet.” the Amman-based Roya News revealed.

As indicated by the palace, Al-Khasawneh, additionally a past Minister of Foreign Affairs and a top envoy, will currently regulate the forthcoming parliamentary elections on November 10.
