Hyderabad: NMDC Limited celebrated its 61st Foundation Day at Head Office, Hyderabad and in all its major production projects and Units as the Corporation was incorporated on the same day in 1958 and has completed 60 years of excellence. Incidentally, NMDC is celebrating Diamond Jubilee Year by organizing many mega events such as National and International Seminars, Marathons, Cultural Programs.
N.Baijendra Kumar, IAS, CMD was the chief guest of the celebrations at Corporate Office. Dr.N.K.Nanda, Director (Technical), Dr.T.R.K.Rao, Director (Commercial), P.K.Satpathy, Director(Production) and Sandeep Tula, Director(Personnel) graced the occasion along with Sr. Officials of Head Office and R&D.
As a part of NMDC’s established corporate culture, employees who have put in more than 20 years of continuous service were felicitated during the function with long service awards in recognition of their dedicated and long association in NMDC.
Congratulating the recipients of these prestigious long service awards Shri Baijendra Kumar, CMD appreciated the well established corporate culture of NMDC and he stressed upon the importance of such awards being given to employees in recognition of their services. He expressed that he is proud to be part of NMDC where some of the best HR practices are in place to keep its employees engaged and motivated to take this company to scale new heights of excellence.
Dr. N.K.Nanda and Dr. T.R.K. Rao also addressed the gathering emphasizing the importance of the long service awards. The recipients of the awards include the
