No Injustice will be done to BCs in Ticket allocation: Jana Reddy

Hyderabad: CLP Leader K. Jana Reddy on Friday said that they had allocated tickets to the leaders from BC Community in the same manner as they did during the last assembly elections. He asserted that no injustice would be done to any BC leader from the party.

The veteran Congress leader also threw light on the issue of announcement of the first list of the party candidates consisting of 74 names. He said that the list would be released on Saturday evening once the TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, who is currently in Dubai, lands in Hyderabad. Commenting on the issue of forming an alliance with arch rival TDP at the state and the national level, Jana Reddy said that the interests of the country had forced them to join hands and work together to save democracy in the country.

“The TDP president Chandrababu himself went to Delhi and met our party president Rahul Gandhi. The initiative was taken to save the country from the hands of the fascist rulers and the BJP,” he said. Commenting on the issue of allocation of Jangaon seat to TJS instead of former PCC President Ponnala Laxmaiah, Reddy refuted the reports in a section of the media,  and said   that the party had allotted the ticket to the former minister from the party.(NSS)
