No Mandatory Quarantine For Vaccinated Indians Travelling To UK

As per the latest update, the Indians who are completely vaccinated with the Covishield vaccine or some other UK-approved vaccination will not have to quarantine anymore in Britain from October 11. This comes after UK had announced that Covishield wasn’t on the approved vaccinations and people who taken the same would have to complete the quarantine procedure.

UK Received Sharp Reactions Over Previous Decisions

As per the latest reports, the British High Commissioner to India, Alex Ellis took to Twitter to announced that Indian travellers, coming to the UK after being completely vaccinated with Covishield will not have to quarantine from October 11.

Ellis thanked the Indian government for closely collaborating with the authorities last month.

This comes after India made a mandatory 10 days quarantine period for the British citizens, irrespective of their vaccination status.
