No new COVID-19 case in the Chinese mainland

On Monday the National Health Commission said, no new local transmitted Covid-19 case was reported on Sunday over the Chinese mainland.

Seventeen affirmed cases showing up from outside the terrain were accounted for on Sunday, the commission said in its everyday report, Xinhua announced.

No new presumed cases or passings identified with the illness were accounted for on Sunday, the commission said.

The Commission told that of all the imported cases, six were accounted for in Shanghai, five in Tianjin, two in Fujian and one each in Zhejiang, Shanxi, Shaanxi and  Guangdong

On Sunday, a number of 24 Covid-19 patients were released from emergency clinics after recuperation, the commission said.

Before the end of Sunday, a total number of 2,499 imported cases had been accounted for on the territory. Of them, 2,311 had been released from medical clinics after recuperation, and 188 remained hospitalized, with four in critical condition. But no deaths from the imported cases had been reported.

As of Sunday, the total number of affirmed Covid-19 cases on the Chinese mainland had reached at 85,048, including 237 patients who were all being treated, with four in a critical condition

Also, 80,177 individuals had been released after being treated, and 4,634 had died due to the disease on the mainland, the commission said.

There were no suspected Covid-19 cases on the mainland, it included.

As indicated by the commission, 7,190 close contacts were as yet under clinical perception after 814 were released on Sunday.

Likewise, on Sunday, 19 new asymptomatic cases, all from outside the mainland, were accounted for, and no asymptomatic cases were re-ordered as affirmed ones.

The commission said 340 asymptomatic cases, including 312 from outside the mainland, were as yet under clinical perception.

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) by Sunday was reported 4,801 affirmed cases including 88 deaths had been reported, along with 46 affirmed cases in the Macao SAR and 488 cases remembering seven deaths for Taiwan.

In the Hong Kong SAR a total of 4,320 Covid-19 patients, 462 in Taiwan and 46 in the Macao SAR had been released from hospitals after recuperation.
