Hyderabad: Task Force personnel today apprehended one most wanted criminal Mohammed Mansoor alias Kala Kavva and Deva under Arms Act for snatchings, Cell phone thefts and pick pocketing against whom PD Act was initiated by the Commissioner of Police on July 5 this year.
Acting on a tip-off, the Task Force personnel apprehended Mansoor. Police said the accused was involved in over 32 cases, which include Cell phone snatchings, Arms Act, Cell Phone Thefts and Pick Pocketing in the limits of Hyderabad Commissionerate. Earlier in 2015, he was detained under PD Act by Chandrayangutta police. Later on December 29, 2017, he was arrested in 10-cell phone theft cases pertaining to Afzalgunj, Chaderghat, Charminar and Malakpet police stations. The accused was handed over to Afzalgunj police for detaining him under PD Act. (NSS)
