Oppn forced early polls: KTR

Hyderabad: IT and Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao today said that the ruling party has preferred early polls by dissolving the Assembly as not to stall the development in the state.

Welcoming 350 BJP workers and leaders into the TRS fold at the party office here, KT Rama Rao said that the TRS Government has spend funds to all segment irrespective of party lines. The TRS has pressed the Congress at the Centre to accord statehood and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao spent adequate funds for developing all constituencies. He also said that the TRS Government has involved in completing the Kaleshwaram project to route out drought from Kama Reddy, Ella Reddy districts by using Godavari waters.

Despite this the opposition congress is coming in the way of the projects and development by moving courts he fumed. The people are wary of the nefarious designs of the congress for spiking the development programs and projects. Hundreds of cases have been filed by the congress against the irrigation projects and people are aware of this he pointed out. The Congress also filed court cases against the regularisation of contract employees he charged.

The government has launched several schemes reaching the poor, farmers and destitute he said. Though no political party will lose power and go for early polls the TRS has dared to continue growth process and develop the state he said. He exuded confidence that the people will vote for the ruling party for more welfare and development. (NSS)
