Opposition lack candidate for Dubbaka by-poll: Harish Rao

Hyderabad: Finance Minister T Harish Rao today ridiculed the opposition parties have no strong candidate to contest the Dubbaka by-poll.

The minister appealed to people of the segment to vote the TRS candidate to win with one lakh votes majority in the Dubbaka by-poll. He participated in a program and launched ambulances services in Siddipet rural area.  On the occasion, the minister said that the congress has no candidate and the BJP lacks cadre to fight the polls.

Harish Rao said that the state government has developed Dubbaka and Sidhipet with equal priority. The KCR Government spends huge funds for basic amenities,  roads, and infrastructure he claimed.  Ask any people about the development done by the TRS government or previous congress rule he said. Woes of Waters for drinking and agriculture are being addressed through Bhagiratha,  Kakatiya schemes he claimed.

The minister asked the people to vote for the local TRS candidate for continuing development programs in the segment.  The Congress and the BJP are talking much of the polls though they don’t have candidates to be in the fray he added.

The people are not ready to believe in the Congress and the BJP leadership as they come in the way of development,  he said.  The bypoll for the Dubbaka segment necessitated as the TRs candidate Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy died recently due to ill health.

The TRS boss KCR has finalized the widow of Ramalinga Reddy to contest the by-poll.  He asked the gathering to not yo believe the opposition parties that are known for blocking of the development programs in the state.
