Opposition Parties demand Governor for President’s rule in the state

Hyderabad: All party leaders have demanded the governor ESL Narasimhan to remove the care taker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao from his position and recommend President of the nation to impose President’s rule in the state as the KCR was misusing the power.

All party leaders—L Ramana (TDP), N Uttam Kumar Reddy (TPCC), Chada Venakt Reddy (CPI) and Prof. M Kodandaram (TJS) met the governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan today evening and demanded the latter to remove KCR from the position of care taker chief minister position. In this regard, the leaders submitted a memorandum too.
Later, speaking to the media, TTDP Chief L Ramana alleged that KCR was ruling the state as he wished though people gave him the mandate to rule the state for five years. KCR was misguiding the constitutional institutions. He alleged that KCR colluded with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and doing ‘Naya Pethandari’ rule in the state. KCR was trying to destroy the unity of the Congress, TDP and CPI, which were trying for poll alliance. He said that they will meet President very soon on the issue and demand the latter to remove KCR from care taker chief minister position as he was murdering the democracy in the state. He was also said that it was necessary to remove KCR from his position for free and fair elections.

TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the care taker chief minister made the police to arrest Jagga Reddy only to scare the Congress cadre. The police were behaving partially, he said and alleged that the elections will not be held free and fair if KCR continues as care taker chief minister of the state. MOdi and KCR were violating the rights of the people, he said and asked ELECTION COMMISSION to tell as to how it was possible to conduct the election where the voter list was still in the preparation. He alleged that KCR was even influencing the elections and asked KCR to tell as to how he could announce the election schedule.

Terming government advisor Rajiv Sharma as ‘Broker Rao’, Uttam alleged that the election commission removed the voters from the list without any reason. He called upon the Telangana people to unite to dethrone the KCR government. He asked KCR and Harish Rao to tell whether it was true or not that both were in the 2004 fake passport case. He said that both KCR and Harish Rao were there in the confession statement. The real culprits were KCR, Harish, Shakil and some other TRS leaders, he claimed and said that there was no link to the case with Jagga Reddy. The police arrested Jagga Reddy only scare the Congress cadre, he said and alleged that city police Commissioner Anjani Kumar behaving like a KCR’s sycophant. He asked the identity of the police saying whether the police were of Indian Police or Kalvakuntla Police. He condemned the arrest of former Deputy Chief Minister Damodara Raja Narasimha and said that the Congress party will not be afraid of thretenings. He said that it was danger to everyone if KCR becomes chief minister of the state once again and warned KCR saying that Telangana was not a ‘jagir’ of KCR.

Kodandaram said that the election to be held in fair manner but KCR will misuse the power in elections and KCR was trying to own the power again through the back door.
Chada Venkat Reddy alleged that KCR was burying the laws in the state. Telangana needs President’s rule, he said and slammed that people will see the end of KCR rule. (NSS)
