Over 1200 deserted vehicles to be auctioned off by Hyderabad police

As per the latest reports, the Hyderabad police department intends to auction off approximately 1,279 deserted and unclaimed automobiles of various types in the near future.

The Hyderabad police have discovered 1279 different types of automobiles and intend to dispose of them by public auction in accordance with Section 7 of the Hyderabad Police Act 2004. The opponent may file an application with the Commissioner of Police in Hyderabad’s Basheer Bagh.

In a statement issued on Friday, City Police Commissioner CV Anand issued an order requiring anyone with an objection or ownership interest in any of these vehicles to file an application with the Commissioner and claim the vehicle within six months of notification, or the vehicles will be auctioned.

The vehicle information is available from the reserved sub-inspector of police, I Narasimha Murthy. People can approach him at the City Training Centre in Hyderabad, or reach on cell at No. 9490616637 and on  www.hyderabadpolice.gov.in.

Hyderabad’s police constable emerges as a fitness icon

In other news, a Hyderabad-based police constable, DA Kumar, who competed in the Mr India Bodybuilding competition 2022, has been an inspiration for the city’s youth and has urged them to focus on fitness in order to stay away from intoxicants.

“I just have one message for the youth who seek out alcohol and other intoxicants: stop consuming such substances and focus on fitness. This is my recommendation,” he said.

Kumar, a 2010 batch constable from Hyderabad, stated that he is currently stationed at Langar House police station and is a national bodybuilder who competed in the Telangana National Bodybuilding Championship, becoming the first police constable to do so.

The constable credited his achievement to his wife and the officers at the police station, stating that he was able to compete due to their support.
