Owaisi attacks BJP president Amit Shah over ‘Ram Temple’ remark

Hyderabad: All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief and Hyderabad MP Asaddudin Owaisi said that it is better if the Ayodhya judgment comes after the 2019 general elections as it would influence the election outcome. He questioned Amit Shah’s speech in Hyderabad yesterday where he had said that the Ram Temple would be built before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

“I want to know from the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it there something they know and the country does not. Is the Supreme Court going to give judgment in their favour? Who is going to write the judgment? Is it the supreme court or the court of the prime minister and Shah,” Owaisi said.

The AIMIM chief earlier on Friday Tweeted that it is better if the Ayodhya judgment comes after the 2019 General polls as it would influence the elections.

Amit Shah advised the state leaders to sharpen the attack on the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti government. He also told party workers to conduct booth level meetings and assure people of BJP as the only alternative.
