Hyderabad: Christmas was celebrated across Churches in Telangana state on a grand note. MLA elect and former deputy speaker Padma Devender Reddy participated in the Christmas festival at famous Medak Church. She exchanged pleasantries and distributed cake and gifts on the occasion. Noted churches across the state were illuminated to mark the festivities and Christians celebrated the event by special prayers and exchanging pleasantries. Children, women and youth seen in new clothes and flocked the churches and offered special prayers. Pastors and bishops in churches conducted holy prayers and blessed the gathering in the name of Jesus Christ. (NSS)
