Padma Rao, Mahamood Ali Give 207 Houses to Poor

Deputy Speaker Padma Rao Goud and Home Minister Mahamood Ali today offered 207 two-bedroom houses to the beneficiaries in the Secunderabad area here.

Mayor Vijayalakshmi and Deputy Mayor Srilatha and officials attended the event. The ministers gave away documents and keys to the beneficiaries.

The government built these houses in the Dhobighat area and we are fortunate to give 2 BHK units to the poor, the minister said. It is the commitment and determination of the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao they said.

The state government plans to give a total of 2.20 lakh houses for the poor in the state and 1 lakh and above in the city they said. They lauded that the chief minister is spending a staggering Rs 45000 cr for the welfare of the people.

The poor, SC, ST, BCs, and Minorities are getting welfare schemes. Pensions, ration cards to the poor besides Rythu Bandhu, Bhima, Vedikas, they said.  Our government offers 24 hours power supply for farming activities in Telangana are being followed by other states.

All the poor will get the houses which are completing in a phased manner they said. The chief minister is for the welfare of the poor.
