Hyderabad: Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City issued P.D. Orders against Rajarapu Pranay Rahul @ Rahul @ Madhu S/o Rajarapu Prakash, White Collar Offender of Saidabad Police Station.
A press note said today that Rajarapu Pranay Rahul, aged about 25 years, un-employed, R/o Near Parvath Nagar Auto Stand, Madhapur, and N/o Vanthena Bazar, Venkonda, Guntur district, has committed offences of cheating in an organized manner promising employment to unemployed youth in State Bank of India, Railways and Income Tax Department in the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate to make easy money and lead a lavish life.
The detenu has committed six offences of cheatings and has been creating large scale fear and panic among the general public, thereby adversely affecting the public order, apart from disturbing the peace, tranquility and social harmony in the society. He along with his associates cheated seven unemployed youth to the total tune of Rs. 58 lakhs.
Saidabad Police made strenous efforts and arrested Pranay Rahul on May 22, 2018 and remanded him to judicial custody. The Preventive Detention Order was executed on him on November 20, 2018 and he was lodged in Central Prison, Chanchalguda. (NSS)
