People Asked to Vote for Cong for Carving out ‘T’

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader and party candidate from Munugodu Assembly segment Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy   on Thursday urged   people of the state to vote for Congress party in order to thank their leader Sonia Gandhi for carving out separate Telangana state.

“We told our leader Sonia Gandhi about the injustices meted out to Telangana state in the field of employment, Funds and waters. We also told her that over 1200 people of the state sacrificed their lives demanding the formation of the state. This has moved her completely and made her form the Telangana state,” he said while addressing a gathering of people of his constituency.

He promised the people of his constituency that they would  bring under irrigation one lakh acres of land after coming into power in the state. He alleged that the state was turned into a debt ridden state during the four and half year long rule of the TRS. He also alleged that the  sitting MLA of TRS party from the seat earned huge amounts of bribes by taking commissions from contractors of different projects. (NSS)
