People from other states, countries impressed with Hyderabad’s infrastructure: KTR

Commuters along the busy stretches of Kothaguda, Kondapur, Botanical Garden, and the road stretch connecting Mumbai old highway at Gachibowli and the new highway at Miyapur can now enjoy a smooth and seamless travel comfort.

Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao inaugurated the Kothaguda multi-level flyover, which was built at a cost of Rs 263 crore by the GHMC under the Telangana government’s Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP).

Aside from the main thoroughfare, the new facility also helps to streamline vehicular movement in Madhapur and its surrounding areas.

The entire area has become a hive of activity with residential, commercial, and office spaces, and has for some time been choked with a constant flow of traffic not only during the day but also most of the night.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister stated that on January 1, 2022, the Shaikpet flyover was inaugurated and on January 1, 2023, the much-awaited Kothaguda multi-level flyover with an underpass, was made available to people.

He added that the Kothaguda multi-level flyover provides much-needed relief to many people in the area and that no other city in the country can match Hyderabad’s massive infrastructure development.

People from other states and countries who visited Hyderabad, particularly after the Covid-19 pandemic, were highly impressed with the city’s major infrastructure metamorphosis, according to Rama Rao, who attributed the city’s rapid changes to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

“Under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the State has been focussing on providing basic amenities not just in terms of roads infrastructure but also in providing safe drinking water, quality power supply and proper drainage system.” he said, adding that the State government has been working with welfare and development as their main agenda.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Education Minister P. Sabitha Indra Reddy, Chevella MP Ranjith Reddy, Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi, Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi, MLC Surabhi Vani Devi, GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar, and others.
