Hyderabad: Most People in Telangana State Capital are preferring the personal vehicle, thanks to the situation arise due to the Corona effect. A large chunk of general masses is in the grip of fear and concern due to the epidemic.
The people are using their bikes and vehicles and avoiding private transport like autos, cabs, etc fearing of suffering from the Covid19 pandemic.
The Hyderabad city which witnessed a large number of vehicles on the streets earlier, however, the situation has been changed drastically and the number of vehicles is less on the most roads nowadays which put brakes on the private vehicles in the City.
In the normal situation, Mahatma Gandhi bus stations one of the busiest bus stations of Hyderabad witnesses 3500 buses daily but now not only the bus service from the neighboring Telugu state Andhra Pradesh but others interstate services also come to a standstill that’s the reason only 1000 buses are arriving at this bus station daily.
The occupancy rate in the buses is also gradually decreased as many people are fearing of travelling in the buses to Hyderabad from Districts.
The situation is unchanged with the Train commuters also as only 25 trains are running from Hyderabad to several preferable destinations.
The number of commuters is also decreasing in the trains. MMTS Services are also standstill which was uses by the lakhs of people in the Hyderabad daily. Many people have made alternative arrangements for their transport.
Presently 18 special trains are running from the Secunderabad station. Generally, about 1 lakh 85 thousand commuters utilize the trains service however only 25000 people are using the train services with the present situation.
