Hyderabad: All petroleum fuel outlets in the city, considered as an essential service, will remain open on Sunday during the Janata Curfew, with the decision to operate or not left to the dealers.
Rajiv Amaram of Telangana Petroleum Dealers Association said it would be difficult to shut down fuel outlets since fuel was an essential service. However, it was up to the outlet dealers whether to function or not, he said.
Amarinder Reddy, general secretary of the Greater Hyderabad Petroleum Dealers Association, said most of the fuel outlets would run with only one unit. To avoid direct contact with customers, the staff of fuel outlets was told to collect money through digital payments, he added.
