Hyderabad: Agriculture Minister P Srinivas Reddy who is recuperating at his residence today instructed the officials to prepare plans to ensure mechanisation of every farm cluster and speed up construction of platforms for farmers. He held a review meeting on farm clusters, mechanisation and farmers platforms with principal secretary Partha Sarathi, commissioner Jaganmohan and others. There is no dearth of funds for farm mechanisation which should be taken in all farm clusters. The Government will provide adequate funds and the plan should help increase farm production significantly.
Srinivas Reddy discussed on plan of assorted crops during rainy season, farm mechanisation, farmer platforms and usage of the funds. Complete mechanisation will reduce cost and the problem of workers shortage in the fields he said. The plan should have details of lands and need for mechanisation and funds allotted in the budget for farmers platforms he said. (NSS)
