Hyderabad: Osmania University JAC has submitted a memorandum to the Kachiguda ACP Narsaiah opposing proposed AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Osmania University. The JAC urged the ACP not to permit Rahul Gandhi to visit Osmania University as there was a scope for riots during his visit.
JAC chairman and TRS leader Dudimetla Balaraj Yadav said that Rahul Gandhi’s visit of OU has political motives and hence not to give permission to Rahul Gandhi. It may be mentioned here that Rahul Gandhi would participate in a meeting to be held at Arts College, Osmania University. On the other hand, Congress party revealed that Rahul will visit OU Campus on August 14 afternoon. (NSS)
