Prashant Kishor will conduct a survey on Telangana politics soon

Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrashekar Rao has announced that political strategist Prashant Kishor will conduct a survey on Telangana politics in the near future.

The Chief Minister told reporters in an informal meeting at Pragati Bhavan that Prashant Kishor was busy conducting polls in poll-bound Goa. After the Assembly elections, the TRS chief stated that Prashant Kishor will travel to Hyderabad to consult with his party leaders before embarking on his own survey of Telangana issues. The political strategist will also conduct a survey throughout the country to assess political developments.

The outcome will assist the party in understanding the public’s perception and making the necessary decisions. The TRS leader also stated that the state Assembly’s budget session would begin before the end of February and that the number of working days would not be less than ten. He predicted that the budget outlay would be more than Rs 2 lakh crore and that the current budget would be revised to be around Rs 1.80 lakh crore. Earlier in the press conference, the CM warned Union Minister for Tourism and Culture G Kishan Reddy about the latter’s anti-government remark. He challenged the Union Minister to reveal evidence of corruption in the Telangana government.

I have high regard for the Union Minister. If he oversteps his bounds, I will not hold back in criticising him warned the CM, adding that Kishan Reddy was unaware of the drastic reduction in allocations to food security, employment guarantee scheme, SC development, and fertiliser subsidy in the recently presented Union Budget in Lok Sabha. The CM stated that he was ready for a debate on budget allocations and accused the BJP-led Union government of defrauding the people of the country.
