Public to have access to Rashtrapati Nilayam for entire year from March 22

Rashtrapati Nilayam, the 162-year-old heritage structure in Bolarum, Secunderabad that serves as the only Presidential retreat in South India for the President of India during the winters, will be open to the public on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi, which falls on Wednesday, March 22. Unlike the usual practise of keeping the Rashtrapati Nilayam open to the public for 15 days a year, this time around the heritage structure and the famed gardens will remain open for visitors throughout the year.

Bookings can also be made on the spot by scanning a QR code. The registration fee for Indian nationals will be Rs 50, and the fee for foreign nationals will be Rs 250. The Rashtrapati Nilayam will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except Mondays and other government holidays, with the last entry at 4 p.m.
