Punjab CM Devotes Multipurpose Fire Tenders In 20 Stations

As per the latest updates, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday has dedicated new multipurpose fire and smaller than normal fire tenders in the 20 recently settled fire stations.

Commending this resident-driven drive of the Local Government Department, Mann said it would be instrumental in saving the life and property of individuals from the dangerous fire episodes frequently occurring.

He trusted with squeezing into administration these recently multipurpose and small tenders, the fire episodes including gigantic misfortune caused to the standing yields during gathering season other than in modern units, would be checked considerably.

Prior, the Chief Minister hailed off these fire-tenders from Municipal Bhawan here.

In the interim, Principal Secretary Local Government Vivek Pratap Singh informed the Chief Minister that the fire-tenders have been dispatched to 20 fire stations recently set up in 13 regions – – Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Bathinda, Mansa, Ferozepur, Moga, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Ropar, Barnala and Sangrur.

Furthermore, the office would before long get the fast reaction vehicles, which would be given to these fire stations. Outstandingly, at present 49 fire stations are working in Punjab under different Municipal Corporations and Municipal Councils, in which 207 fire-tenders are working.

At present if there should arise an occurrence of any inappropriate episode, the fire-tenders need to cover a distance of 50 to 60 km.
