Hyderabad: Hyderabad Mayor Dr. Bonthu Rammohan said the Punjagutta Steel Bridge to be inaugurated on Friday by the Home Minister Mahamood Ali.
The Punjagutta is one of the busiest roads in the City, in order to facilitate free flow of traffic and for rectification of Black Spot, as per the directions of the Minister for MA&UD K.Taraka Rama Rao GHMC has undertaken the work of widening of Bottleneck at Punjagutta Grave Yard (Chuteys) through the construction of Steel Bridge over Grave Yard at the cost of 5.95 Crores.
Under SRDP, GHMC undertaken road widening at Punjagutta Grave Yard towards TV9 Road and Road widening & Construction of Steel Bridge over Punjagutta Grave Yard (Chutneys) side with the cost of 23.00 Crores.
The work commenced on February 29 as per the directions and regular monitoring by the Ministers K.Taraka Rama Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and.Mayor Sri.Bonthu Rammohan the GHMC officials able to complete it by May 31, along with approach road by deploying advanced machinery by Contractors and utilizing Lockdown period.
Further the Mayor said, with the completion of Steel Bridge Project it facilitates free flow of traffic from TV9 Junction to NFCL Junction. Decongestion of Traffic there by reduction of pollution and travel time.
