Rahul, Chandrababu vow to defeat BJP

New Delhi: As expected the Telugu Desam national president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu shifted his plan of forging an anti-BJP alliance at national level to Delhi and got closeted with AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi at latter’s residence. Having met with national leaders such as Faruq Abdullah and Sharad Pawar and others in Delhi and presenting them with Veenas and talking on the alternative front against the BJP at the Centre, Chandrababu discussed on the issue and got support of Rahul Gandhi.

Naidu who took “Protect Nation- Save Democracy” slogan began stitching a grand alliance of opposition partners including the congress, its recent bête noire, to play a pivotal role in the next Lok Sabha elections. Ultimate aim of the opposition partners is to defeat BJP led NDA Government at the Centre which has collapsed constitution and destroyed democratic systems across the nation they said. Stating that the media wants sensational news, Rahul said that the Congress, BJP and other like minded parties will come with an agenda to be disclosed

Talking to mediapersons later, Rahul said that unmindful of previous issues with the TD, now the Opposition parties will join hands against the BJP regime. He said the alternative front will work together with a sole intention to defeat the BJP Government at the Centre for destroying all the systems in the country.

 Rahul said that they are joining together to protect the nation from corruption as the Modi Government devastated democracy, all the systems including CBI, RBI and Rafale deal and others. Rahul sought that an intense probe into the Rafael Deal to unravel the truth of money spent. The nation now wants where the money went and how much money was swindled by the Modi Government which is desisting from an independent inquiry the Congress chief said. Chandrababu said that there is a need for protecting the nation and democracy. Now the Modi Government has collapsed the system and encouraging massive corruption he charged.

“I hope that all other Opposition parties will join them to take on the BJP led NDA regime. We appeal to the Opposition parties to forge an alliance against the BJP government and defeat it in the next Lok Sabha elections in 2019. Youth are facing problems related to jobs, corruption and employment which have to be addressed by the alliance partners”, he added. (NSS)
