Rahul Gandhi Promises Food Parks For Famers If Congress Forms Government In Punjab

With the elections approaching, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday declared that assuming his party got back to the steerage again in Punjab it will set up a group of food parks and the installment will be made straightforwardly to farmers for their produce.

Tending to a political election rally around here, Gandhi said Hoshiarpur is a focal point of horticulture and homestead apparatuses. “Our administration will attempt to make a group of food stops and machine devices in Hoshiarpur. Anything you fill in the food park, be it potato chips or ketchup, everything can be fabricated by straightforwardly moving your produce from homesteads to the food handling unit,” Gandhi said.

Ripping into the BJP-drove Central government, Gandhi said farmers of Punjab challenged the homestead regulations for one year, overcoming the colder time of year and Covid-19. “Why? Since Narendra Modi needed to offer our farmer’s work to business people,” he said

“He (Modi) couldn’t give two minutes of quietness in Parliament to farmers who kicked the bucket during the protest, didn’t give remuneration as Rajasthan and Punjab state-run administrations did.”

“Did anybody benefit from the Goods and Service Tax (GST),” asked Gandhi, saying Charanjit Channi will run an administration of little and medium dealers and farmers?

“PM Modi said in each discourse that he would store Rs 15 lakh in ledgers and will give work to 2 crore youth. Did anybody get it? For what reason does he not talk about defilement or business? He did demonetisation, forced GST. Who got benefitted?”

“Assuming that Channi can get fuel costs sliced, for what reason would Modi be able to get it done? He will not do it as his kin benefit,” he added. Punjab will go to the polls for its 117-part Assembly in a solitary stage on February 20. The votes will be relied on March 10.
