Rahul spoke utter lies: Sukhender Reddy

Hyderabad : TRS leader and MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy today alleged that AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi spoke lies, untruth and gave wrong statements during his campaigning at three places in Telangana State. Speaking to mediapersons here today, Gutha dared the Congress to prove corrupt charges against the ruling party. The Mahakutami partners are crossing swords for seat sharing, he ridiculed. There was no meaning in what the AICC Chief alleged that KCR was offering dynastic and family rule in Telangana. The people are in favour of the TRS for the welfare and development programs, he added.

Gutha said the Telangana Congress leaders parroted Rahul Gandhi to speak utter lies on the ongoing projects, welfare and development programs in the State. Instead of reading the script cooked up by State Congress leaders, Rahul Gandhi should have taken stock of actual situation and the welfare schemes implemented, he said. Without getting correct information, the AICC president resorted to baseless remarks against TRS chief and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he said.

Gutha condemned Rahul’s rant that the TRS chief was most corrupt in the country. Rahul Gandhi has no right to speak about corruption which prevailed across the country during the Congress rule, he said. The TRS leader also said the TPCC Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy and others have provided wrong information and false reports to the Congress and made him to speak lies against the ruling party. However, the people are not ready to believe in Rahul’s comments which are of no use. The Congress leaders are yet to decide on the seat sharing among its allies, who are crossing swords for more seats for the polls, he ridiculed.

Sukhender Reddy said he lost respect for Balladeer Gaddar now after his meeting with AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi. “Earlier I used to respect Gaddar and now I do not”, he said. He found fault with Gaddar for stating that he will participate in the poll campaigning followed by a meeting with the Congress top brass. It is merely a suicidal step, he said. (NSS)
