Raids on Heritage and Ratnadeep supermarkets

Hyderabad: The Weights and Measurements Department gave a shock treatment to the business and commercial firms for resorting to cheating in GST. The Department has conducted raids on several business and commercial firms on Thursday for selling goods for old prices even though the central government reduced GST on several goods. The Department formed as 16 teams and conducted raids and filed 23 cases. The officials filed five cases in Manikonda, two in Madhapur, seven cases against Jubilee Hills Heritage supermarket and five cases against Banjara Hills Ratnadeep supermarket. (NSS)
