Hyderabad: The rain lashed in the several parts of the Telangana Capital this afternoon. The movement of the traffic in Hyderabad also stalled in the many pockets of the city as the rainwater gushed in the roads and low lying areas of the City.
Meanwhile, Heavy floodwaters are reaching Srisailam Reservoir due to heavy rains in the upper catchment areas. Authorities said 49,895 cusecs of floodwater was coming into the Srisailam reservoir on Wednesday morning.
The flood water of 48,795 cusecs from the Jurala project and 1100 cusecs from Handrineva is reaching the Srisailam reservoir. Currently, the reservoir water level is 815.50 feet and the water storage capacity is 37.6570 TMC. The full water level of the reservoir is 885 feet and the water storage capacity is 215 TMC.
