Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the Meteorological Department said on Friday.
In a bulletin here, it said heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Guntur district of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, during the last 24 hours.
Rain occurred at a few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at some places in Rayalaseema and Telangana, during the same period.
The highest maximum temperature of 42 degree Celsius was recorded at Medak and Nalgonda in Telangana and 43 degrees was recorded at Nandigama of AP, the bulletin added.
