Rains led to TRS joint meeting Postponement

Hyderabad: TRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today postponed Party state committee meeting along with MPs and MLAs. Actually the joint meeting of State committee, Parliamentary party and Legislature was supposed to be held on Thursday. However due to heavy rains in the districts and the Met department predicting possible heavy rains, the TRS boss has put-off the joint meeting to a later date. Since Adilabad district is witnessing heavy downpour and floods and influence of the heavy rains in other districts the chief minister preferred to postpone the joint meeting.

If not postponed, he would have discussed about the forthcoming Pragathi Nivedana meeting on the outskirts of the city on Sept 2. Also he is about to instruct the MPs and MLAs to perform better by taking the welfare schemes and programs to the people.(NSS)
