Rajasthan HC Issues Notice To Russia Embassy Over Indian Citizen’s Body Stuck In the Country

As per the latest reports, the Rajasthan High Court has given a notice to the Russian Embassy for a situation of deferral in giving over the body of an Indian resident trapped in that country since July.

On Wednesday, the court coordinated the Registrar (Judicial) of the Court to send a notice on the authority email of the Embassy of the Russian Federation. The Indian resident, distinguished as Hitendra Kumar Garasiya was a laborer from Udaipur who passed on July 17 in Russia, and his family has been making a decent attempt to get the body back.

The High Court, while looking for an answer regarding that situation, said, “The court isn’t unmindful of its impediments on giving notice to the Senior Consular of the Embassy or the Government of the Russian Federation. However, it is suitable to give a notice to manage the exceptional circumstance and to facilitate the means to be taken.”

Asha, the spouse of the expired and her kids had recorded an appeal to carry the dead body to India. While hearing this prior, the High Court, showing affectability, guided the Central government to make vital strides. Showing up for the focal government in a solitary seat of Justice Dinesh Mehta, Additional Solicitor General Rajdeepak Rastogi let the court know that all endeavors were being made to bring the body of the expired Hitendra Kumar Garasiya to India.

He further let the court know that the Russian Federation specialists were not giving over the body because of the forthcoming FSL report. The single seat said that Hitendra Kumar passed on July 17. “This Court feels that the Government of the Russian Federation ought to be mentioned to speed up the cycle in such manner,” said the court.

Advocate Sunil Purohit appeared in the court on behalf of the petitioner.
