Rajya Sabha Suspended 12 MPs For Entire Winter Session

The Rajya Sabha on Monday suspended 12 MPs for the whole winter session of parliament for causing uproar in the house during a monsoon session of the parliament on August 11.

Winter Session To Start From Monday 

The suspended MPs are from Congress, Trinamool Congress, CPI, CPI-M and Shiv Sena.

The individuals are – Syed Naseer Hussain, Akhilesh Prasad Singh, Phulo Devi Netam, Chhaya Verma, Ripun Bora and Rajmani Patel of the Congress; Priyanka Chaturvedi, Anil Desai of the Shiv Sena; Elamaram Kareem of the CPI-M, Binoy Viswam of the CPI, Dola Sen and Shanta Chhetri of the Trinamool.

The suspension of the individuals could be another glimmer point between opposition members and the government in the winter session of the parliament which started on Monday. Toward the beginning of the day, the Rajya Sabha executive demonstrated that he is troubled over the issues of the house in the past meeting.

Disruptions, Unruly Conduct Hampered Monsoon Sessions As Well 

Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu stated that interruptions and unruly conduct of certain individuals during the last monsoon session for tormenting all. He encouraged the individuals to draw right examples from it as all segments of the house and the nation wound up as washouts from the wrecked monsoon session.

Naidu alluded to the new development during the end snapshots of the last storm meeting and noticed that reactions of the main lights of the house and all concerned were not up to his assumptions.

Alluding to the highs and lows seen during the last 11 meetings directed by him in the course of the most recent four years, the Rajya Sabha Chairman encouraged the individuals to make “popularity based and parliamentary space” in the House so that everything issues can be taken up.
