Ramana says he won’t contest poll

Hyderabad,: Telangana TDP president L Ramana today made a startling statement that he would not contest the elections, but would strive for victory of Mahakutami candidates.

Speaking to mediapersons here today, Ramana said he would work for victory of Congress candidate Jivan Reddy. He said his main aim was to defeat and end “dictatorial TRS rule”. It may be mentioned here that Ramana was first elected to the Assembly from Jagityal in 1994 on TDP ticket and retained the seat for five times.
