Real-Time Tracking Is Now Available for TSRTC Buses

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has added another feature to make passengers’ journeys more enjoyable. It has decided to make it possible for passengers to track TSRTC buses in real-time.

Passengers can track around 3800 TSRTC buses in real time using an app developed by the corporation. The authorities have installed tracking equipment on public transportation for this purpose.

The facility will be available for Express, Deluxe, Super Luxury, and Rajadhani buses in Phase I. Other TSRTC buses will be added to the list of public transportation that can be tracked through the app in stages.

Passengers will be able to see the arrival and departure times of TSRTC buses in real-time thanks to the new feature. It will also include information about the schedule and route of the buses. Passengers can also use the app to find the nearest bus stop.

Hitech City to Hyderabad Airport TSRTC bus

TSRTC is going above and beyond to make the transportation option the best among many. It recently began operating a bus service from Hitech City to Hyderabad Airport.

TSRTC vice chairman and managing director V. C. Sajjanar shared details about the service on Twitter, saying that the bus will leave Shilparamam every 30 minutes between 4:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. daily, and those who travel daily will receive a 10% discount.

TSRTC bus fair

TSRTC decided to impose an additional diesel cess a few months ago, revising fares for all services but exempting passengers in Greater Hyderabad.

The corporation imposed an additional diesel cess in slabs of Rs.5 and above, based on the distance traveled by passengers, on all types of the district and long-distance services.

In another move, TSRTC raised student bus pass fares in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, as well as rural districts. It was noted that the last increase in bus pass fares occurred in 2019. The bus pass charges have not increased in almost three years, despite the fact that the diesel price has increased many times over, it stated.

Every day, the TSRTC transports more than 30 lakh passengers and 12 lakh students, totaling 42 lakh commuters, across Telangana and to neighboring states. Every day, the Corporation buses consume nearly 6 lakh liters of diesel.
