Registration should be completed within 30 days for new vehicles: Hyderabad police

The Rachakonda Police Department has been taking strict measures to control robbery and theft incidents in the city, and their efforts have yielded excellent results. Another recent development has been the police advising vehicle owners to register their new vehicles within 30 days. The department has warned that those who do not comply with the rule will face strict action.

Rachakonda Police held a review meeting, chaired by Joint Commissioner of Police Rachakonda Satyanarayana, to assess the ongoing special drive and its performance. During the meeting, department officials informed that action had been taken against those who tampered with the number plate, as well as vehicles that were not properly registered or had no number plates.

The Rachakonda police department launched the special drive in January of this year, and so far, 48,998 cases have been filed against violators. The police provided information on those who were repeatedly found guilty of the same offense and produced in court. The Traffic Special Enforcement took action against such citizens and brought them to court, where they were sentenced to one to three days in jail and fined between Rs 3,000 and Rs 5,000.

The police have taken such measures to reduce traffic violations and ensure citizens’ safety.

DCP D Srinivas Sai Kumar and other traffic police officials attended the meeting to review the progress of the ongoing special drive. The department is committed to enforcing strict actions against those who violate traffic laws and cause traffic chaos. The Rachakonda Police Department has urged vehicle owners to register their new vehicles within 30 days to avoid legal consequences.
