The iconic Mahboob Chowk Market in Hyderabad, popularly known as Murgi Chowk, is undergoing extensive renovations in order to become a modern and appealing tourist destination. The demolition work has officially commenced and is anticipated to be completed this week. Following demolition, the rubble will be cleaned to make space for building, which is set to begin next week.
Arvind Kumar, Special Chief Secretary for Urban Development, presented a design image of the new historical market, stating that it will keep the architectural design features of the previous market while becoming a key tourist attraction.
