Hyderabad: Chief Electoral Officer Dr Rajath Kumar today said special revision of Electoral Rolls, which will begin from December 26 following a call from the Election Commission.
Talking to mediapersons here today, Rajath Kumar said the Election Commission announced special revision of the electoral rolls for the upcoming Lok Sabha 2019 elections. He appealed to the youth above 18 years by January 1, 2019 to enroll their names. Those who complained of missing names should file fresh submission of the details from December 26 to January 25, 2019 he said. All the voters and people have to cooperate with the Booth Level Officers to visit houses and provide correct information using forms 6, 6A, 7, 8 and 8A and file the same online on http://www.nvsp.in website, he said.
Dr Rajat Kumar also said disposal of such cases will be completed by Februay 11, 2019 and update the database and printing of supplement will be completed by February 18 and final publication of electoral rolls will be made on February 22. (NSS)
