Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls from today

Hyderabad: The Election Commission has announced Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls from August 1 to 31.

According to Chief Electoral Officer Dr Rajath Kumar, those who have crossed 18 years of age as on January 1, 2020 are eligible to enroll as voters in this period and also those who have not enrolled so far and wants to make any changes they are eligible for identity they can produce any copy of any of the documents such as Indian Passport, Driving License, Aadhar, Ration Card or any other document as approved by the Commission.

The citizens can verify their electors details through “NVSP portal” mobile app, NVSP portal or by visiting common service centers or submitting a hard copy of filled forms through Booth Level officers.

House-to-House verification by Booth Level Officers will begin from September 1 to 30, publication of integrated draft electoral roll on October 15 and period for filing claims and objections from October 15 to November 30, Special campaign dates will be November 2 and 3 and November 9 and 10, final publication of electors roll January 1 to 15 as decided by the Commission. All the eligible citizens, who attain 18 years of age as on January 1, 2020 can file their applications for enrolment, objections and correction. (NSS)
