RWAs conference discusses how to increase poll percentage

Hyderabad: M. Dana Kishore, DEO & Commissioner, GHMC today said on 24th National Residential Welfare Association Conference was held where discussions were held how to increase the polling percentage, how to involve RWAs in the polling process and also how to coordinate with RWAs for distribution of voter slips to the voters, door to door with the permission of the CEO and also requesting the political parties to deploying Booth Level Agents  for more effective distribution of voter slips said the DEO.

With regard to Swachh Survekshan 2019 which is scheduled to be held in the month of January for which the GHMC is also planning to involve RWAs for more effective coordination to take up works of Swachh Survekshan in their respective colonies / localities etc., to have a good impact.

The Commissioner said that for 150 wards one officer has been appointed as Incharge Officer for each ward, 16 to 17 civic related important issues have been planned for overall development of the wards and also taking suggestions for ASCI authorities where they have suggested to deploy one agency for each ward for motivating to derive good results.

The Commissioner appealed all citizens to take an active participation in the Swachh Survekshan for overall development of the city. With regard to elections the DEO said that all the arrangements are taking up in full swing in a systematic manner, even Model Code of Conduct also being done as per the directions of the ECI. (NSS)
