Rythu Vedikas to benefit farmers: Ajay kumar

Hyderabad: Transport Minister Dr Puvvada Ajay Kumar today stated that Rythu Vedikas are set up for benefit of the farmers. The minister visited a training center for farmers in a rythu vedika in Raghunatha palem in Khammam district here.

On the occasion,  the minister said that the state government has set up these platforms with all facilities to benefit farmers. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has envisioned for these platforms to provide a fillip and support to farmers on modern practices and latest technology usage. Ajay Kumar said that about Rs 20 lakh spent to each of these platforms in the state.

The farmers can share ideas on farming,  variety of crops,  modern practices, latest technology usage he said they can also get information about MSP,  marketing and advises on crops and practices he explained. The farmers can get the advantage of these platforms to benefit, the minister hoped.

Plan of the chief minister to provide all help is giving good results, the minister said.

Rythu bandhu, rythu bhima, 24 hour power supply are helping the farmers and the platforms will add to their benefits he said.He also participated in some development programs in the district. (NSS)
