Sanctions on Russia could lead to the crash of international space station

As per the latest reports, with the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia, many countries have issued sanctions on the latter. Following this, Western sanctions against Russia could make the International Space Station crash, the head of Russian space organization Roscosmos cautioned Saturday, requiring the correctional measures to be lifted.

As indicated by Dmitry Rogozin, the assents could upset the activity of Russian vessels overhauling the ISS. Therefore, the Russian section of the station – – which rectifies its circle – – could be impacted, causing the 500-ton design to “tumble down into the ocean or onto land”.
